Key Account Manager

Job Description

At AeeFar Airtronics Tech, the Key Account Manager will be the primary interface between AeeFar Airtronics Tech and our designated KEY customers. The key account manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the customers. You will be the lead point of contact for all key account matters, responsible for understanding the customer’s needs and requirements and coordinating activity and deliverables.

 

Role responsibility will encompass the full array of business with the customer in an effort to drive the maximum business potential for AeeFar Airtronics Tech. You will lead customer success initiatives, keep a primary focus on customer outcomes and play a central role in directing the interactions between our customers and AeeFar Airtronics Tech. You will collaborate with our key customers to deliver exceptional outcomes and experiences for their engineering and production teams. It is essential that you establish the most effective customer commitment to AeeFar Airtronics Tech at the right level within the customer’s organization. This is a coordinated effort of company-wide support within the AeeFar Airtronics Tech organization. Your efforts are to encompass a global, customer focused, strategic thought process.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent the customer to the internal AeeFar Airtronics Tech organization
Analysis and development of measures for the implementation of the key account strategy encompassing Sales,Service, Applications and Technical Customer Support
Developing a solid and trusting relationship between key customers and AeeFar Airtronics Tech, that exceeds customer expectations and delivers long term recurring revenue for AeeFar Airtronics Tech
Build relationships that allow for effective utilization of internal AeeFar Airtronics Tech Photonics resources to support customer programs/customer satisfaction and to drive new business opportunity growth at key accounts
Responsible for achieving/exceeding the revenue goals of key accounts
Manage and grow key accounts through understanding of customer’s needs, product pipeline and next generation needs
Provide technical and selling expertise at key accounts to "over-serve" existing business and to deepen relationships with strategic customers which enable cross-platform sales, which generates new business/product platforms within these customer relationships
Working with designated AeeFar Airtronics Tech team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of products are being produced and all customer needs are being met
Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
Resolving key customer issues and complaints

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Account manager role
Experience in a high tech industry, preferably in capital equipment with a strong preference for experience with lasers, laser optics, optics, optical metrology.
BS degree or higher in a technical field, MBA preferred
Excellent customer relationship skills and proven results with increasing sales
Ability and experience in successfully delivering results through cross-functional teams (initiating projects, communicating the timeline/deliverables, managing schedules, and driving internal commitments)
Communication - Superior written and verbal communication skills - able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization both internal and external
Independent, solution-oriented approach and a high level of commitment and flexibility
Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills complimented by an aggressive and solutions- oriented track record
Must have ability to address tactical issues in the short-term while maintaining strategic vision for the long-term
Proactive and proven strategic problem-solving expertise
Candidate must possess a strong sense of ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment
